Mack has 20+ years of experience with both Claris FileMaker and Web Application development, and is joining Codence as Application Developer all the way from Rural Hall, North Carolina. When not experimenting with Claris FileMaker or some new web design do-dad, Mack loves to roam flea markets and yard sales to feed his lifelong obsession with Comic Books (and everything that’s Comic Book adjacent).
Jody has been working with FileMaker for over 17 years in various industries. She has a Masters in Business Administration and has worked in several “Analyst” roles over the years, always leveraging the power of Claris FileMaker along the way. She lives in central Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 lakes, with her husband, three teenagers, and a sweet English Cocker Spaniel. When not at work, you can either find Jody at her kid’s sporting events, coaching her daughter’s basketball team, or appreciating the outdoors.
Cristos is a jack-of-all-trades technologist and is bringing Python, PHP, and javascript chops to our team, along with a strong Claris FileMaker expertise. Outside of work, he likes helping organizations that support the local immigrant community, sailing in Casco Bay, and cooking. Cristos is of half-Greek and half-Chinese descent, speaks just enough Mandarin to order dim sum, and lives in Portland with his wife and son.
Andi spent most of her career in Finance for the Television industry. She is experienced in budgeting, accounting, HR, and production companies. Fun fact: you can IMDB Andi! She is an avid knitter and podcast listener. She lives in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park with her three sons, husband, and Emma, the sweetest pitbull you’ll ever meet.

Laura is a FileMaker Certified developer, a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, the author of an integration tool to post from FileMaker to QuickBooks. Laura says that, “There is no traffic jam on the extra mile,” and strives to always provide the best customer experience possible. Laura enjoys gardening and hosting visitors from all over the world.
Scott is an expert in FileMaker and other technologies, with decades of software development and a lifelong love for inventing new apps. Deeply passionate about both project management and design. His family has deep roots in Colorado, he loves spending time in the mountains, and is an enthusiastic cook.
Julia Donato graduated from Oregon State University-Cascades and is transitioning from software implementation to project management. Julia worked cross-functionally with Sales, Technical Support, Technical Specialists, Product Engineering, and Professional Services teams regarding product initiatives and customer requests. She is eager to learn and be a better advocate for our clients. You will often find Julia exploring coffee shops or parks in Washington state with her husband and their Labrador Retriever.
Alan has been using FileMaker since 1993 to develop applications for companies ranging from one-man operations to Fortune 500 businesses. A skilled communicator, Alan has written blogs, magazine articles, training materials, and white papers for Claris, Inc. As an authorized FileMaker trainer and certified developer, he has helped many other developers grow their skills as well. A lifelong resident of the Midwest, he can be found in his off hours fishing and enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two children.
Aline loves working with people and is a master in keeping internal projects organized. She graduated from San Jose State a couple years ago and joined our Apprenticeship program to gain experience as a project manager. In her spare time she loves to serve in her local community and explore the beautiful California outdoors.
Charlie is well known in the Claris community; he has deep experience in technical leadership with a major focus in the vertical space. On the personal side, Charlie is the president of his local cycling club, a competitive sailor, a ski instructor, and recently completed all 46 4000+ foot peaks in the Adirondacks.
Nathan has over fourteen years programming using a range of languages and platforms including HTML, PHP, Python, JavaScript and FileMaker. He is very detail oriented, and enjoys focusing on clean practical user interface and design. During his time off, he spends time with wife and three girls, backpacking, running and taking photos.
Geoff has more than 27 years’ experience building FileMaker solutions that handle complex inventory, manufacturing, and accounting issues. Geoff enjoys playing with his grandson, tending his vegetable garden and blueberry bushes, and enjoying the outdoors on one of the many trails in North Carolina. Samantha is experienced in business management and especially in the operational development and organization of professional services companies. Samantha loves to cook, try new restaurants, and is a bit of a movie aficionado. She can usually be found at her home in Fort Lupton, Colorado, curled up with her 2 miniature schnauzers, Parker and Petra, watching a great film and sipping hot chocolate or coffee when not working.
Kathleen is a contracted Certified Public Accountant who helps with the taxes, accounting, business metrics, and testing new accounting software features. When Kathleen isn’t working her accounting magic, she enjoys helping people with her skills as a Human Design Specialist and Mind-Body Health Coach and playing with her granddaughter. A frequent presenter at PauseOnError, DIG-FM, and other user groups, Kevin Frank has been building FileMaker databases, and helping other developers build FileMaker databases, for more than 30 years. He hosts the popular FileMaker Hacks blog, and resides "behind the redwood curtain" in Humboldt County, California. When not FileMaking, he can be found on his bicycle, reading or listening to music. Aaron is certified in FileMaker 8-12,16-18. With more than 18 years’ experience building FileMaker solutions, he was a contributing author of the FileMaker Training Series for many years, and wrote the first training module for FileMaker Go. When he’s not dedicating every breath to development, he loves riding his motorcycle and playing guitar.

Ian has an extensive background in FileMaker database design with a focus on business management solutions. Ian has been instrumental in the evolution of Genesis Financial Suite. Ian design philosophy is "to introduce order where there is chaos." Ian also likes to run, hike, and spend time in the ocean in his adopted home of Costa Rica.
He was introduced to FileMaker in 1993 and has been developing long-lasting relationships with Codence's clients. Charles has a Master's in Public Health and leads health and wellness programs at retreat centers throughout the country. (Charles is an Independent Contractor working with Codence.)
With 20+ years of experience developing FileMaker, Ivan has played a central role in the design and expansion of key elements of Genesis, with a special focus on the inventory engine, status stages, Business Metrics, and Metrics Reporting.
